FRIENDS IN NEED--A MITZVAH INDEED USA!

We believe that everyone can make a difference, show they care and help make the world a better place--no matter how young or old they are!

When you give to others--through several different ways such as: time, talents, money, clothes and food--not only do you bless others, but through giving to others we are blessed ourselves! Through our Website, or through any one of our Community Service Centers--you can do and be a Mitzvah too!

(Mitzvah--Good Deeds/Good-Deed Doer and being a Blessing to Others!)

In August 2004, the now Founders

and Head Directors of Friends in Deed--A Mitzvah Indeed USA--a Mother and her 5 year old son, who were active in their community in fundraisers and various community service projects--both thought why don't we start a group of our own--and help others! Some people have money to give to help others--some are struggling themselves but would like to help in other ways--and need the opportunity to do so--and some people need a private/non-humiliating place to turn to --to ask for confidential and discreet help from others! So--this Community Service Group was born! We would like to see this group grow nationally and internationally--through the help of volunteers (--in which we are blessed so far with several good people currently helping as volunteers)

--because the more people we can help and lives we can touch for the better--the greater our Help in Sharing Love and Kindness to Others!

We have several ways you can help:

1) Send a Secure Money Donation via Paypal--via Credit Card, E-Check or Checking Transfer

2) See Our Needs List: and send non-perishable food, new/like-new clothing and new supplies--as stated on the needs list to a community service center!

3) Volunteer to be a State Coordinator/Regional Coordinator

and facitiate a Center in Your Area to help out!

4) Volunteer to help out in our Bi-Monthly Soup Kitchen

5) Volunteer to help out in Our Holiday Charity Concerts/Drives!

As you can see--you can help out in a variety of ways! The sky's the limit here--in the potential to help others!

We help people in need, no matter their race, ethnicity, religion, etc--we don't discriminate--we just want to help! We can help in times of need (ex. Florida and the Surrounding Areas in Sept. 04--the recent tragedy with Tsunami--and the most recent tragedy in our Country, Hurricane Katrina)--that are national and international--and help out right here where you live in YOUR OWN BACKYARD/COMMUNITY--since there are people in need everywhere, and good people that have been hit with hard times and just one caring person can truly make a difference in their lives! You can help--from infants, to children, to families, to the elderly, to etc.!

We currently have a List of Various Groups and Agencies we help and support--such as some Nursing Homes, Crisis Centers, Safehouses, Shelters, Various Helpful Organizations, Host Homes and Private Citizens helping others in need. We also, have a private/confidential list of families/persons who have financial/personal needs that have requested help from our Group! Though we can only do so much--we do what we can, but we need your help with donations--through MONEY, VOLUNTEERING & SUPPLIES!
